General Physician

Pulmonology is classified as an internal medicine subspecialty. Because of the variety of clinical problems encountered, knowledge of internal medicine and other specialties is required in order to obtain certification.

The department of Clinical biochemistry laboratory which is equiped with state of the art equipment and works round the clock to provide timely and reliable reports on a wide range of biochemical parameters.The results are reviewed by highly experienced and qualified staff before they are released. They keep a regular check on its performance by running control samples to keep track of the accuracy, precision and reproducibility of the analytical procedures

Micro Biology
The Department of Microbiology is well equipped to diagnose most of the infectious diseases prevalent in the society. The department offers diagnostic services to the hospital regarding Bacteriology, Mycobacteriology, Immunology and Serology. Immuno Assay for serodiagnosis of HIV, Hepatitis markers and other infectious diseases.

Clinical Pathology
The department of Clinical Pathology Laboratory routinely performs diagnostic procedures including the analysis of blood chemistry, Pap smears and tissue specimens. The laboratory is accessible during regular office hours, Some of the more common procedures performed include the analysis of Pap tests, tissue biopsies, blood chemistry, cultures and antibody testing. The complete line of Medcare Diagnostic services is what you would expect of a well-respected medical institution.

The Hematology lab equipped with one automated 3 part complete blood count analyzer. The coagulation profile, complete with factor assays, mixing studies, inhibitor essays and platelet aggregation study, all done with Amax Destiny plus machine, along with the hematopathologist's inference helps in solving various bleeding abnormalities.

The Department perform Serological tests for all infectious diseases including Hepatitis markers, TORCH test, HIV, HCV, typhoid , autoimmune panels, Total IgE, , markers for critical care assessment to name a few are done on automated ELISA systems

The Department of Histopathology division is excelling itself due to the presence of a state-of-the-art histopathology lab aided with availability of special techniques like immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence. A complete work up of tissue from various parts of the body can be studied in detail to arrive at “The Final Diagnosis” because of these advancements.

The Department of Cytology laboratory offers cytology interpretation and a full range of services with one of the highest caseloads of any academic veterinary institution.

All Harmones
Harmonics are defined as the sinusoidal components of a non-linear periodic waveform with a frequency that is a whole multiple of the fundamental frequency. Putting this simply; any switching operation of the mains supply sine wave will produce lots of other sine waves at higher frequencies. These are not apparent but they are harmful. The digital X- Ray is advantageous in time saving and enhances the images digitally without the conventional films. The digital X-Ray procedure is less radiation compare to the conventional X-Rays, since it is a high frequency

2D Echo
2D Echo (2 Dimensional Echocardiogram) is a test in which ultrasound is used to picture out the heart. Echocardiography is a painless test that uses sound waves to create images of the heart. It provides the doctor with information about the size and shape of the heart and how well the heart's chambers and valves are working.

Colour Doppler
A Doppler ultrasound test uses reflected sound waves to evaluate blood as it flows through a blood vessel. It helps doctors evaluate blood flow through the major arteries and veins of the arms, legs, and neck. It can show blocked or reduced blood flow through narrowing in the major arteries of the neck that could cause a stroke. It also can reveal blood clots in leg veins (deep vein thrombosis, or DVT) that could break loose and block blood flow to the lungs (pulmonary embolism).
